Charleston, W.Va. - The University of Charleston was downed in 3 sets by Glenville State University at home on Tuesday night.

How It Happened:
Glenville State came out swinging in the first set, taking the first two points before quickly going on a 6-0 run to pull ahead. The Pioneers went on another 5-0 run before taking the first set 25-15. The Golden Eagles looked to respond in the second set, taking an early 5-2 lead. GSU soon countered, scoring 8 unanswered points. The deficit was too large to overcome, and Glenville would take set two 25-17. With their backs against the wall, Charleston opened the third set with kills from Kate Strong and Patrycja Majos. The set remained competitive, with both teams going back-and-forth with scoring efforts. Ultimately, Glenville would take the third and final set by a score of 25-22.
Divine Muo and Kate Strong led the Golden Eagles offense with 7 kills each. London Upchurch had 18 assists while Sahana Rajesh contributed 15 digs.
