How It Happened:
Charleston overpowered Kentucky State in four sets, in a match that featured twenty Golden Eagles players. After opening set one with a solo block from Kate Strong, UC didn't look back. Charleston went on a 6-0 run behind multiple service aces from Patrycja Majos and took the set by a score of 25-18. Kentucky State looked to respond in the second set.
