Buckhannon, W.Va. - The University of Charleston fell in straight sets to West Virginia Wesleyan on Tuesday night.

How It Happened:
The match started with back-and-forth scoring in set one, with UC briefly pulling ahead. WVWC was able to recover and take the set by a score of 25-18. Set two was wire to wire for the Bobcats, holding the lead the entire time. Though the Golden Eagles went on a late 9-2 run, it was too large of a deficit to overcome, as West Virginia Wesleyan would take the second set 25-23. Charleston has their backs against the wall in set three and started out with a quick couple of points behind two blocks and a kill. However, the Bobcats exploded with a 15-3 run and took the set 25-17.
On the offensive end, Jasmine Broberg led the Golden Eagles with 11 kills. London Upchurch contributed 11 assists, while Divine Muo added 3 total blocks. Sahana Rajesh led the match with 16 digs.
