Athens, W.Va. - The University of Charleston was dominant in a sweep of Concord University on Friday night.

How It Happened:
UC started their scoring with a pair of kills from both Jasmine Broberg and Patrycja Majos and never looked back. Charleston dominated in the first set, hitting .286 as a team. With an 8-0 run to end it the Golden Eagles would take the set by a score of 25-11. Set two started out with more back-and-forth scoring, but after a couple of runs from Charleston, the deficit was too large for Concord to recover from, and UC would take the second set 25-16. CU looked to respond, taking a 19-15 lead in set three before a 5-0 run by Charleston to put the Golden Eagles ahead. UC would ultimately take the third set and the match by a score of 25-23.
Jasmine Broberg led the match with 12 kills, while London Upchurch contributed 14 assists. The Golden Eagles shined on the defensive end with Kate Strong, Patrycja Majos, Madison Easton, and Sophie Bailey each responsible for 3 blocks. Sahana Rajesh led the match with 20 digs.
