HOW IT HAPPENED

The beginning of the game went well for the Golden Eagles, responding to Lawrence Tech after almost every goal, and after a hard fought first half, the Golden Eagles only trailed by one behind the Lawrence Tech Blue Devils. However, the second half made things worse rather than better for Charleston as the Blue Devils began to pull away with their goalkeeper having 13 saves on the day. UC couldn't rehain any momentum, letting the game slip away and losing 14-9.
