CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Golden Eagles are back at the Welch Athletic Complex for a home Mountain East Conference contest against the Wheeling University Cardinals. The Golden Eagles took a 4-1 victory during their visit in Wheeling and look to improve to 10-0 in MEC following Thursday's game.

Last Game: The Golden Eagles come into Thursday's game after scoring 13 total goals last week, after downing the Concord Mountain Lions 6-0 followed by a 7-0 routing of West Liberty on Sunday. The Golden Eagles were led last week by midfielder, Joao Lima with two goals and two assists, and by MEC defensive player of the week, Jordi Ramon who also tabbed two goals in two victories. The Golden Eagles got 25 shots off against the Hilltoppers putting 16 on goal.

About the Opposition: The Cardinals currently sit at 2-8 overall and 1-7 in MEC play but are coming off a 2-1 win over concord on Saturday. Wheeling is led on offense by Lucas Fievet with three goals scored this season.
