CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- The University of Charleston announced that Head Women's Volleyball Coach, Jenna Theden (Brown) has been promoted to Assistant Athletic Director for Recruitment and Retention. 

Theden will immediately become a part of the Golden Eagles Athletic Department's Administrative Team. Her knowledge of the university's curriculum and degree requirements will make her an asset to the department as she mentor's coaches in the Golden Eagles athletic department.
 
"Her visionary management approach and her passion for NCAA II athletics make her the perfect individual to liaise between the Department of Athletics and other campus constituent groups." Said Charleston Athletic Director, Dr. Bren Stevens. "It is evident that Coach Theden's career exemplifies a commitment to academic rigor and a passion for insuring that her student-athletes have a superb experience during their time at UC."
 
Theden earned her Bachelor's degree in Interior Design as well as her Master's degree in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston.
