Box Score Charleston, W.Va- The Charleston Men's Basketball team took on conference opponent Notre Dame College in an exciting Wednesday night contest. How it Happened
Keith Williams continues to light it up for Charleston this year as he helped the Golden Eagles notch their 20th win of the season on Wednesday. Williams showcased his guts as he played every single minute of the game while adding 23 points, eight rebounds, and six assists.

From the opening tip the matchup would be all that fans could hope for as momentum swung back and forth the entire contest. UC ended the first half with 36 points to the Falcons' 40. The four point deficit would come from just a slightly higher FG percentage from the Falcons. They would shoot 57.1% from the field in the half to UC's 50.

The Golden Eagles came out of halftime looking to play tougher defense and contest more shots from long range. They did just that as they held Notre Dame to four threes on 10 attempts in the second half while draining seven of their own buckets from downtown. None would be bigger than the one from the hand of Jeremiah Keene with 35 seconds remaining in the second half. After earning a hard fought seven point lead with a minute and a half left in regulation, Notre Dame proved they would not go away easily and fought back to within two points at 80-78.

The Golden Eagles would have a new possession with just a 15 second difference between game and shot clock. A bucket would almost surely seal the victory, however, the Falcons managed to knock the ball away from forward Lamont McManus. In the scramble for the ball and with time winding down on the shot clock Shaunn Monroe found a way to hit Keene in the corner. Keene threw up a shot as the shot clock ticked to zero and swished it through without a second left to spare.

The shot would essentially seal the game with just 30 seconds remaining. After a big defensive stop on the other end the game was cemented with a Shaun Monroe layup with 15 seconds left in regulation.

Keene's four three pointers on the night all came at critical points in the second half. Shaunn Monroe would also add to his solid season by tallying 15 points in the ball game. He was a red hot 75% from long range while adding 4 assists. Jeremiah ended his night with 16 points and a game high 7 assists.

Lamont McManus followed up his big performance against Davis and Elkins with a 16 point, six rebound night while shooting 70% from the floor.
