Mount Olive, N.C. — The University of Charleston track & field teams opened competition at the Trojan Relays with a strong showing across both field and track events, highlighted by podium finishes, event wins, and multiple school records.

Friday – Field Events
Women's hammer throw — Mia Huber led the way with a third-place finish at 55.02 meters, while teammate Ella Nilsson followed closely in fourth at 49.92 meters.
Men's hammer throw — Jullian Matthews delivered a strong performance, placing second with a mark of 58.65 meters.
Women's javelin — Tesscani Moore added another podium finish for the Golden Eagles, taking second with a throw of 40.12 meters.
Saturday – Track & Field Events
110-meter hurdles — Frank Hicks placed second with a time of 14.77.
400-meter hurdles — Hicks returned later in the day to win the event in 54.09, completing an impressive double.
Women's 100-meter hurdles — Minke Engelbrecht set a new school record with a time of 14.31 to place third, while Laura Delgado de Torres followed in fifth at 14.73.
Men's 400 meters — Brady Prior led Charleston with a second-place finish in 47.76, while Eric Kreuter added a fifth-place finish at 48.14.
Women's 400 meters — Erica Davis paced the Golden Eagles with a sixth-place finish in 1:00.07.
Women's 200-meter dash — Colette Patti set another school record, running 23.75 to place second.
Women's long jump — Laura Delgado de Torres added a third-place finish with a mark of 5.49 meters.
Women's discus — Magdalene Furst led Charleston with a throw of 39.67 meters.
Men's shot put — Aiden Corbett placed second with a throw of 16.46 meters, followed by Jack Ingram in third (15.10m) and Jullian Matthews in fifth (14.82m).
Women's high jump — Adrienne Truman rounded out the field highlights with a fourth-place finish at 1.52 meters.
Harrisonburg, Va. — Charleston's distance squad competed at the James Madison Invitational, producing strong marks and personal best performances.

Women's 800 meters — Abbey Bolton led Charleston with a fourth-place finish in 2:16.05, followed by Amanda Ferrante in eighth at 2:19.22.
Women's 1500 meters — Amanda Ferrante recorded a new personal best of 4:42.58, while Sara Campana added another sub-five-minute performance at 4:51.95.
Men's 800 meters — Charleston packed the results with a tight 2-4 finish. Matthew O'Shea led the group in 1:57.58, followed closely by Jack Talbot (1:57.75) and Josh Messina (1:57.84) in a near three-abreast finish at the line.
Men's 1500 meters — Jonas Richter was the top finisher for Charleston, clocking 4:10.53.
