Charleston, W.Va. — Charleston Track & Field delivered a strong showing at the Golden Eagle Invitational on Friday at the University of Charleston Stadium, highlighted by multiple event wins, top finishes, and standout marks across the board. The meet also served as Senior Night and marked the Golden Eagles' final home competition of the season.

Track Events
4x100 Meter Relay
The Charleston men's 4x100m relay captured the win in a time of 41.41, moving to No. 26 on the NCAA Division II list. The relay consisted of Wudkwych, Salgado, Prior, and Kreuter. The women's 4x100m relay placed third in 48.67 behind a lineup of Torres, Booker, Engelbrecht, and Patti.
800 Meter Run
Charleston swept the top two spots in the women's 800 meters as Abbey Bolton won in a personal best time of 2:15.54, followed by Amanda Ferrante in second at 2:18.58.
110 Meter Hurdles
The Golden Eagles took four of the top five spots in the men's 110m hurdles. Massimo Pantano won in 14.46, while Frank Hicks placed third in 14.81. Reese Hunt finished fourth in 15.26, and Luke Davis placed fifth in 15.41.
100 Meter Hurdles
Charleston swept the top two positions in the women's race with Minke Engelbrecht winning in 14.68, followed by Laura Delgado de Torres in second at 14.78.
3000 Meter Steeplechase
Sara Campana won the women's steeplechase by a wide margin in 11:38.50.
100 Meter Dash
Brady Prior and Alejandro Salgado placed fourth and fifth in the men's 100m with times of 10.85 and 10.90. On the women's side, Colette Patti won the event in 11.74.
10,000 Meter Run
Thomas Crockett claimed the men's 10,000m title in 32:30.75, finishing nearly two minutes ahead of second place. Milla Forsgren won the women's 10,000m in 40:57.09, while teammate Abigail Anderson placed third in 43:45.73.
400 Meter Hurdles
Frank Hicks placed third in the men's race in 55.49, followed by Reese Hunt in fifth at 57.49. Laura Delgado de Torres won the women's 400m hurdles in 1:05.93.
1500 Meter Run
Matthew O'Shea placed second in the men's 1500, finishing just half a second off the lead. Collin Brooks added a fifth-place finish in 4:02.21. Amanda Ferrante doubled back to place second in the women's 1500 with a time of 4:47.10.
200 Meter Dash
Charleston placed three athletes from second through fourth in the men's 200m: Brady Prior (21.38), Eric Kreuter (21.79), and Alejandro Salgado (21.86).
5000 Meter Run
Ava Lightfritz placed third in the women's 5,000m with a time of 19:26.48.
4x400 Meter Relay
The Charleston men's 4x400m relay, made up of 800m runners, placed fourth in 3:36.35. The women placed second and fourth with two squads. The A team of Booker, Davis, McCann-Coles, and Philstrom finished second, while the B team of Bolton, Ferrante, McClain, and Simmons placed fourth.
Field Events
Triple Jump
Devon English placed fifth in the men's triple jump with a mark of 13.08m.
High Jump
Adrienne Truman placed second in the women's high jump with a clearance of 1.55m.
Discus Throw
Magdalene placed second in the women's discus with a mark of 45.34m.
Hammer Throw
Jullian Matthews won the men's hammer throw with a mark of 58.21m, just shy of his own program record. Luke Messenger placed fourth at 52.89m, followed by Jack Ingram in fifth at 51.82m. On the women's side, Mia Huber won with a personal best throw of 55.64m. Ella Nilsson placed third at 47.57m, and Abby McKinney finished fifth at 45.40m.
Shot Put
Aiden Corbett won the men's shot put with a mark of 16.55m. Jack Ingram followed at 14.85m, while Jullian Matthews placed fifth at 14.65m and Luke Messenger took sixth at 14.50m. Abby McKinney placed fourth in the women's shot put with a mark of 11.51m.
