Greensboro, N.C. – The University of Charleston turned in strong performances across multiple event groups at the Aggie Invitational, highlighted by a hammer throw victory and several top finishes in a competitive field.

How It Happened:
Men's 200 Meters
Brady Pryor led Charleston with a time of 21.65, followed closely by Eric Kreuter at 21.78. Millar McElrea added a 22.28.
Men's 400 Meters
Alejandro Salgado posted a top-10 finish in a competitive field with a time of 47.57.
Men's 400 Meter Hurdles
Cosmo Johnson finished 14th with a time of 54.22.
Men's Shot Put
Luke Messinger placed 10th with a mark of 13.84 meters.
Men's Hammer Throw
Julian Matthews claimed the event title with a throw of 55.91 meters. Luke Messinger followed with a fourth place finish at 52.05 meters.
Women's 200 Meters
Colette Patti recorded a top-10 finish with a time of 24.10.
Women's 100 Meter Hurdles
Minke Engelbrecht led Charleston with a time of 14.61.
Women's Long Jump
Laura Delgado de Torres posted a mark of 5.12 meters.
Women's Triple Jump
Delgado de Torres also competed in the triple jump, recording a mark of 11.24 meters.
Women's Hammer Throw
Ella Nilsson led the group with a throw of 47.36 meters, followed by Magdalene Furst at 33.63 meters.
Women's Javelin
Tessciani Moore placed second with a mark of 37.10 meters.
