Results
The University of Charleston Cross Country team dominated the 3^rd Annual Golden Eagle Invitational over a five team field. Kourtney Willey was the overall champion running a meet record time of 24:44.95. Willey crushed the field coming in 2:18 before anyone else. Runner up was Brittany Green who broke away from a pack of three to sprint to the finish with a time of 27:02.96. Amanda Boyce came in fourth while Becca Henderson and Jessy Blankenship closed out the scoring for UC. The Golden Eagles placed seven runners in the top ten.

The Cross Country team will next be in action on Wednesday October 9^th in the All West Virginia Championship held at Camp Creek State Park. Race time is slated for 3:00pm.
