Paula Ord won the 800m to close out the heptathlon and take All Conference honors Saturday afternoon at Glenville State with 3433 points. Teammate Kathleen Cornell finished in fourth place with 3220 points. Strong events on day two (long jump, javelin, and 800m) catapulted the Golden Eagles from fifth (Cornell) and sixth positions (Ord).  

UC goes into the final weekend of the MEC championship with elven points and in second place overall. First event for the Golden Eagles is scheduled for 11:00am Friday with Kathleen Cornell in the pole vault.
