The University of Charleston won the Golden Eagle Invitational in their first outdoor meet. Leading the way for the Golden Eagles was Liam Mumford who won both the 800m and 1500 races in record breaking fashion. Mumford was also on the winning 4x400m relay team. Keith Charette (5k), Damein Rose (400 hurdles) and Jordan Whitehair (3k steeple chase) won their respective events breaking the meet records. James Volpe won the shot put while Steven Brown won the javelin. To finish the day, the 4x400m relay broke the meet record with the team of Damien Rose, Christov Cornish, Liam Mumford and Steve Brown.

Final Scores of the meet had the Golden Eagles on top with174, Glenville 103, Concord 99, Alderson Broaddus 75 and West Liberty 20.
