Box Score CHARLESTON, W.Va. – The Golden Eagles didn't suffer from a post-Thanksgiving hangover as they blew out the visiting Fighting Scots from Ohio Valley University, 89-54, Saturday afternoon at the CCHS Athletic Complex.

Charleston remains unbeaten on the season, running their record to 5-0 with Saturday's 35-point victory. UC returns to the court Thursday, heading to Urbana to take on the Blue Knights followed by a Saturday matchup with Notre Dame College.

UC shot an impressive 58% from the floor in the win over Ohio Valley, with Keir Anderson and Elliott Cole each going 6-for-6 from the floor. Cole led Charleston in scoring with 16 points, while Anderson chipped in 14 for the Golden Eagles. Jonathan Tshibuy and Justin Coleman each turned in double-digit rebounds, pulling down 13 and 11 rebounds respectively.Â

All 10 Golden Eagles that saw action Saturday ended up in the scoring column, as Coach Osborne went to his bench for valuable minutes giving the normal rotation a chance to rest before the weekend matchups in Ohio. Defensively, Charleston limited the Fighting Scots to 31% shooting from the floor and outrebounded Ohio Valley by 20, 47-27.
