CHARLESTON, WV. – The University of Charleston Men's Basketball team (2-2)  fell 104-105 in overtime to Fairmont State (3-1).

How It Happened
-After climbing back from four different double digit deficits to take the game into overtime. Charleston fell 104-105. 
-Fairmont state held onto a six point lead 10 minutes into the first half. 
-The first half ended with the Falcons leading the Golden Eagles down 52-48. Charleston brought the game within five only to go down twelve. 
-With just over three minutes to go in regulation the Golden Eagles were down by eleven. The Golden Eagles clawed their way back bringing the game within two with just ten seconds to go. 
-Still down by two, with less than a second to go, Shaq Speights sank a three ball to send the game into overtime. 
-Charleston took an early lead going up by five points in the overtime period. Charleston led 104-103 with 30 seconds left to play. With one second on the clock Andrew Emrick made the game-winning bucket for the Falcons. 

Charleston Individual Leaders
-Austin Howard tallied 24 points to lead the Golden Eagles, while Malik Young tallied 21 in the loss. 

Fairmont State Individual Leaders
-Jason Jolly led the Falcons with 21 points. 

A Deeper Look
-Charleston went into the offensive boards tallying 27 second chance points to the Falcons 12. Fairmont State barely edged out the Golden Eagles 46-44 in the paint.
