How It Happened
-Charleston maintained the lead through the first half until Concord took the lead with just over three minutes to play in the half.
-The score teetered back and fourth for the remaining three minutes but the Mountain Lions went into the hafl leadiing the Golden Eagles 33-29.
-The Golden Eagles clawed their way back to hold a 10-point advantage with just over eight minutes to play.
-With three minutes to go in regulation Tommy Bolt hit a three to give Concord the lead. The Mountain Lions came back from a 10-point deficit to defeat the Golden Eagles 77-75.
Charleston Individual Leaders
-Lamont McManus led the Golden Eagles with 15 while Jonathan Tshibuy had 11 in the loss.
Concord Individual Leaders
-Tommy Bolt led the Mountain Lions to victory with 30 points, while BJ Hamlet tallied 16.
A Deeper Look
-Charleston outscored the Mountain Lions in the paint 38-24, but Concords 16 points off turnovers helped to boost them over the Golden Eagles.
