How it Happened
-Jonathan Joseph got Charleston going with a transition dunk 4 minutes into the first half. The Golden Eagles went on a 14-0 run that ended with a 3-point basket by Urbana's AJ Washington. The bucket brought the score to 17-6 midway through the first half. 
-Charleston steadily held onto the lead before going on a 10-0 run bringing the score to 32-15. Urbana was able to hold the Golden Eagles to just 4 points in the closing minutes of the half. The teams went to the locker room with Charleston leading 37-26. 
-DeQuan Abrom of Urbana tallied 11 of his 16 points in the second half effort, but Charleston would carry the lead through the end, bypassing the Blue Knights to a 79-65 victory.
