INDIANAPOLIS –– University of Charleston's Diana Castillero qualified for the 2018 NCAA Division II Women's Outdoor Track Championships in the 100m Hurdles announced by the DII T&F Committee on Tuesday afternoon. Castillero, a sophomore from Monterrey, Mexico, posted a time of 13.81 to be ranked 14th in all of NCAA Division II heading into next weekend's championships. The 100m Hurdles prelims will take place on Friday, May 25th at 6:55 p.m. with the finals set for 4:55 p.m. on Saturday afternoon.
A total of 754 participants, 377 men and 377 women, will compete in the championships. Student-athletes qualified for the championships by reaching the automatic and provisional standards established for each event. CHAMPIONSHIP: MEN'S QUALIFIERS | WOMEN'S QUALIFIERS
The championships will be held May 24-26 in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Irwin Belk Complex. Johnson C. Smith University will serve as the host of the championships. The championships will be streamed live on www.NCAA.com each day.
