WHEELING, W.Va. – The University of Charleston had some tough competition at the MEC Championship. Davis and Elkins had 5 athletes finish in the top 10, allowing them to finish first.
 
UC placed fourth overall with a total score of 108. Kasey McNamara has been a top runner for Charleston this whole season and she also proved that this morning. She placed seventh out of 69 athletes. McNamara was awarded First Team All-Conference.
 
The next Golden Eagle to cross the finish line was Cami Wagner. She had a time of 26:53 which allowed her to finish 22^nd overall. Her other two teammates Olivia Underwood and Denise Ruiz were close behind finishing 24^th and 25^th.
 
Up next UC will travel to Lock Haven, PA. to compete in the NCAA Atlantic Regional on November 9^th.
