FULL RESULTS
MARIETTA, Ohio -- The University of Charleston women's indoor track team captured their third meet championship of the season by outscoring Glenville State at the Marietta Alumni Open on Friday evening.
UC finished the meet with 165 team points, 45 points better than the Pioneers who finished at runners-up to the Golden Eagles. Davis & Elkins College rounded out the top-three but were well behind Charleston and Glenville with a total of 84 points.
Charleston's Distance Medley Relay squad of Olivia Underwood, Jamaicia James, Eve Hine, and Cami Wagner set a new program mark by completing the 4000 meter relay in 13:39 and taking home first place. Tricht Jocelyn scored 20 points by herself after winning both the 55 meter and 200 meter events and was UC's top scorer on the evening.
In addition to Jocelyn's pair of first place finishes UC got winning efforts Haley Snodgrass (Pole Vault), Julia Onrubia (Triple Jump), Abby Watson (Shot Put) and the 4x400 team of Kendira Capron, Desiree Evans, Tanajah Grant, and Kasey McNamara.
The Golden Eagles return to the track on February 15th in Columbus, Ohio where they will compete in the Buckeye Tune-Up hosted by Ohio State University.
