CHARLESTON, W. Va. – After coming off a big MEC victory over the Notre Dame Falcons, the Golden Eagles are set to hit the road on Wednesday, to take on the Davis & Elkins Senators. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
 
Last week the Golden Eagles went 1-1 falling to Bellarmine on the road before routing the Notre Dame Falcons 2-0. The Golden Eagles remain atop the MEC Standing with a 2-0 record in conference play. The Golden Eagles offense flourished on Sunday, outshooting the Falcons 11-3.
 
The Senators sit at 1-1 on the season, falling to Notre Dame in their season opener, followed by a 2-0 shutout of the Concord Mountain Lions on Sunday afternoon.
 
Offensively the Senators are led by Nicholas Burnz. The freshman is a Park City, Utah native who leads D&E with 180 minutes played this season, and has tallied the lone goal this season.
