CHARLESTON, W. Va. -- The University of Charleston Golden Eagles Men's Basketball team has found themselves in the Top-25 of the NACB Poll for the first time since January 22, 2013. Charleston has been slotted 21

in the latest poll after victories against Urbana and Notre Dame this week. With the win over Notre Dame, the Golden Eagles improved to 14-2 (8-2 MEC) and are currently on a nine-game win streak while holding the top spot in the Mountain East Conference.
This season, the Golden Eagles rank 2
nd in Division II in field goal percentage (52.9%), behind #8 ranked Nova Southeastern (Fla.).
Lamont McManus has led Charleston in FG% at 67.8%, good for 3
rd in the country. In addition, the Dwaine Osborne led Golden Eagles hold Top-25 ranks in scoring margin (12.7), rebound margin (10.1), three-point field goal percentage (15), and win-loss percentage (87.5%).
The last time the Golden Eagles ranked in the Top-25 through 16 games, Charleston held a 12-4 record before dropping a 68-67 contest to Wheeling on January 24, 2013.
This week, the Golden Eagles will square off against Concord University at home on Wednesday before traveling to crosstown rival West Virginia State University on Sunday January 26
th for a 4:00 p.m. contest.
