CEDARVILLE, Ohio – On March 27^th, the University of Charleston Men's and Women's Track & Field teams competed at the Cedarville Yellow Jacket Invitational. With a handful of athletes competing, Matthew Forrester was the top finisher in the 1500m, winning the event with a new school record of 3:56.75. In addition, Kellen Tropeck set a new school record for the Discus, with a throw of 48.20m while finishing 3^rd in the event.
 
Top Highlights: Men
 

• Forrester was the top finisher in the 1500m, winning the event with a new school record of 3:56.75
• Tropeck finished 7^th in Shot Put with a throw of 15.06m. He also finished 3^rd in the Discus with a throw of 48.20 (Charleston record)
• In the 200m, Daniel Mullenax finished 5^th with a time of 21.96 seconds and 3^rd in the 400m with a time of 49.69 seconds.
• Warren Thiel competed in the 400m, finishing just behind Mullenax with a time of 49.71 seconds while placing 4^th.  
• Colin Hunkele finished 7^th in the 400m with a time of 50.41 seconds.
• Michael Garrett competed in the High Jump, finishing 6^th overall with a 1.90m jump.  
• In the Steeplechase, Dennis McCheskey finished 3rd (9:51.83), Anthony Bradford finished 6^th (10:17.39), and Ryan Blackwell finished 8^th (10:20.80)

 
Top Highlights: Women
 

• Eve Hine competed in the 400m, finishing 5^th with a time of 59.90 seconds
• Miriam Dreher competed in the 100m, finishing with a time of 15.48 seconds, good for 8th overall. In addition, Dreher competed in the Long Jump, finishing 14^th overall with a jump of 4.95m.  
• Louise Cranston competed in the Long Jump, finishing 17^th with a jump of 4.82m. 17th. In addition, Cranston competed in the 200m, finishing with a season best 26.44 seconds, good for 17^th overall.
• Azaria Pack finished 11^th overall in the High Jump with a jump of 1.48m.
