RALEIGH, N.C. – This past weekend, Track and Field head coach Nick Bias brought Jack Mastandrea and Nathan Stout down to North Carolina State University to compete in the Raleigh Relays (Mar. 25-27). Loaded with Division-I talent from across the country, both Mastandrea and Stout showed out as top-finishers of the Division II competition in their respective events.
 
Mastandrea, a senior from Mooresville, North Carolina, competed in the 10k and finished with a time of 29:02.95. With the time, Mastandrea was the top Division II finisher in the event (7^th overall) and earned an NCAA Automatic Qualifier on his way to recording his personal best, as well as a new Charleston Track and Field record in the event.
 
Stout, a senior from Glenville, West Virginia, finished 6^th overall in the Shot Put and finished as the top Division II finisher in the event. With his thro of 17.22m, Stout earned an NCAA Provisional Qualifier with the 11^th best throw in Division II this season.
 
This year, the Division II Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championships will be held on the campus of Grand Valley State University from May 27-29.
