Debbie Amos Garners WVIAC Honor....Again


PRINCETON, W. Va. – The University of Charleston’s Debbie Amos has been named the WVIAC Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week, as announced by the league office.

For the third consecutive week, Amos earned the award. At the Golden Eagle Invitational last weekend, she crossed the finish line of the 6k race in 26:13 as the top individual finisher. Her time bested the second-place competitor by more than a minute to guide UC to its first victory of the season.

Amos and the rest of the Golden Eagles head to the Greensboro Invitational Saturday.
