Box Score
BUCKHANNON, W.Va. - The Golden Eagles slim halftime lead wouldn't be enough as they fall 64-73 to the Bobcats of West Virginia Wesleyan Saturday night at the Rockefeller Arena.
Charleston would be led by Xavier Humphrey 19 points and Aleksander Kesic 11 points as those two would be the only ones in double figures on the night for the Golden Eagles. Wesleyan would have a more balanced attack as five different players would have double digit scoring performances led by Chris Dewberry and his 16 points. Turnovers would be limited as both teams only committed 16 total throughout the game however, Wesleyan would capitalize and create 18 points off them.
UC falls to 5-4 on the season 2-3 in Mountain East Conference play while the Bobcats move to 8-5 and 3-2 in the MEC. Charleston will get back in action Monday January 6th at Eddie King Gym as the Pioneers of Glenville State make the trip to Charleston and tip off is set for 7:30pm.
