On Saturday, the Golden Eagles carried a 33-25 lead into halftime against California (PA) and would extend that lead to as much as 13 with 17:15 remaining in the contest before the Vulcans mounted a comeback, eventually taking a three-point lead with 41 seconds remaining in the contest on a made three-pointer from Rams Guard Zyan Collins. With under 10 seconds remaining and down two, Charleston would apply pressure on the Rams imbound, forcing a Hail-Mary style pass down the court for what looked to be an easy layup before Robinson came out of nowhere for the block. The ball was immediately corralled by
Keith Williams who dished the ball to Senior Guard Rackley who leaned into a shot, sinking the three-point buzzer beater for the Charleston victory.
