BRIDGEPORT, W. Va. – The Mountain East Conference has named Lamont McManus this week's MEC Men's Basketball Player of the Week after helping the Golden Eagles to a pair of victories this week over Frostburg State and West Liberty.
 
McManus, a senior from Waldorf, Md., averaged 18.0 points and 7.0 rebounds as UC picked up a pair of wins last week. In a win over Frostburg State, McManus hit 7-of-9 shots from the field on his way to 18 points and hauled down seven boards. On Saturday, he duplicated his point total and rebound output as Golden Eagles knocked off ninth-ranked West Liberty. McManus currently ranks within the top-25 in the nation in field goal percentage.

Other Top Performances: Jeremiah Moore (WVSU) went for 26 points and 14 rebounds in a win over West Liberty ... Da'Vion Moore (CU) had 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Mountain Lions defeated Frostburg State ... Christian Miller-Cardwell (AB) had a career-high 21 points and pulled down seven rebounds in a win over West Virginia Wesleyan ... Dalton Bolon (WLU) average 24.0 points and 8.0 rebounds last week, and also went over 1,900 career points.
