Hall of Fame
Dave Beverly was inducted into the Golden Eagle Sports Hall of Fame in 2002. Dave was voted as Morris Harvey College and the University of Charlestons Best All Around Athlete before graduating in 1949.
In football, Dave was named a 3 year letter winner and a WVIAC All-Conference Athlete. During his time on the team they went to the WVIAC Conference Championship.
In baseball, Dave was voted captain of the team twice and earned WVIAC All-Conference three times. During his time on the team they want on to the WVIAC Conference Championships three times.
In basketball, Dave was voted captain of the team four times, earned a letter all four years and WVIAC All-Conference two times. During his time on the team they went to the WVIAC Conference Championship twice. Afterwards, Dave went on to coach at the New York Basketball State Championship.
