Glover, a 1974 graduate of Morris Harvey, was a two-time AII-WVIAC ('73 & '74) performer in baseball as a pitcher for the Golden Eagles. 

On the mound, Glover posted a career record of 22 wins and 9 losses while tossing two no-­hitters in his four-year career and throwing 25 complete games. In his 1973 season, Glover had an ERA of .72 which ranked him 6th nationally. The 1974 graduate played on the 1972 team what earned the WVIAC Championship and appeared in the NAIA Tournament. 

Glover was acquired by the Pittsburgh Pirates following his career at Morris Harvey.
