Ford was a four year letter-winner for the Women's Basketball program from 1996-2000 and was an integral part of a Golden Eagle team that earned a NCAA National Tournament berth in 1998.  She was part of the WVIAC Championship team in 1998, earning All-Conference for her outstanding performance during the year.  Ford, captain of the 1999-2000 team, went on to score 1,140 points for the Golden Eagles and was named UC Female Athlete of the Year for her amazing contributions on the basketball court.
